Happy Thanksgiving MessageSince it’s Thanksgiving today in the United States, I decided to create this special blog post, because the majority of my subscribers are from there. So Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Even though I’m not from the States, I am always grateful for everything that I have right now.

And that’s what I suggest you do today – express the gratitude to people that are around you, even if you’re not in the States.

Thanksgiving – What I am Thankful For

Jelena FamilyMy Parents and the entire Family
. If it wasn’t for my parents (and particularly my dad), I wouldn’t be in this industry today. I would be slaving in college or university trying to pass all those crazy exams buried in debt (because it is quite expensive to study in a college today). Last year I was ready to apply the documents to colleges, but my parents told me that it’s not the best way how I can continue on with my life after high school (and I was in network marketing already at that time). They made me realize that I’m gonna be studying for at least 4 years and then I’ll have to look for a job, which is not an easy thing either. And I figured that I can go online and learn how to make money without having to go to college and the best part about it was that I could start making money too.

So if you are reading this right now, and you have kids or maybe you are in high school right now, I don’t recommend going down that “school-college-job-pension” road. It’s not the most fulfilling and it’s very time consuming. You can disagree with me, and that’s okay, but I have this strong opinion on colleges.

[That’s a funny picture that I found in the photo album taken in 2001-02 in Tenerife where we were celebrating New Year]

My Education. Even though I am kinda against college or university education, I am grateful for all the Jelena Promeducation that I got at school, because I was 100{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} committed to learning everything our teachers told us to since day 1 in school. Not everyone was. But I knew since the beginning that if I want to get somewhere in life, I HAD to learn, and I did. I am very grateful to the teachers who taught us core subjects like math, languages (there were 4 of them), computer programming and history, because people should know these things (at least the basics). The reason why I mentioned computer programming is because that’s something that I use a lot right now – we had a class the past 2 years where we learned the basics of WordPress and HTML coding (it’s not something that’s taught in every high school). And I’m very grateful for the teachers that have taught us languages (that’s something that I’m very passionate about) – we learned Russian, Latvian, English and Hebrew. And a lot of people ask me how did I learn English so well, the answer is – at school. 🙂

My Past Failures. You may be thinking now – “What kind of failures did you have? You’re only 20!“. Well, I had failures both at school and in business. Especially when it comes to school, nothing came easy. I had to work my butt off to get all those grades, I woke up early, stayed up late learning everything I needed to to pass those crazy tests and exams (and there were a LOT of them). And particularly it was tough when we had new subjects and new teachers whom we had to impress with out knowledge and commitment. And the same thing applies to business – when I first started in network marketing, I had not idea what the heck I was doing. I had a crazy idea to become rich on the Internet. That was it. I didn’t have education. I didn’t have training. I had nothing. But everything is a process. And I found ways how to make it happen. And that’s what I’m thankful for. And I understood this from school – nothing worth having comes easy – both good grades at school and results in business.

The Home Business Industry. I am very grateful that there is such an industry where you don’t have Larry Lane Jelena Ostrovska Eric Caprareseto go to a job and do things that you hate doing. On the Internet you can turn any passion into a business and make money doing what you love. Isn’t it awesome? Like I said, I’d be in college now, doing the stuff that I don’t have passion for. Home business is not just about network marketing opportunities, it’s about opportunities that you can create yourself and do whatever you like! People who think that it’s all scam, don’t really understand the industry.

Another thing that I’m grateful for because of the industry is the people that I got to meet (I haven’t met all of them in person YET). Home business truly unites people from all over the world who have similar values, goals and vision. There’s nothing else in the world like making those types of friendships!

MLSP Community. That’s the place that I call “My Online Business College”. That’s the place where I went for education instead of college. I will always be grateful for this community and what it has taught me and given to me. I don’t think I’d be in the online business today if I didn’t join MLSP. If you’re still on the fence with your business, and you feel like quitting because you’re not getting the training and support that you need, this is the perfect place for you. If it helped me, it would 100{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} help you too!

My Subscribers & Blog Readers. I am thankful for YOU, that you are reading my posts, because otherwise I wouldn’t be blogging 5-7 times a week! So if you’re getting value from my posts, feel free to share & comment! Because I do what I do because of the people like YOU!

Here’s What I Suggest You Do Today
