3 Blogging Obstacles

Have you ever tried to do blogging? Did you face some blogging obstacles and then just quit without even getting started?

Challenges and obstacles are all over the place. You can face them in any niche, with any marketing strategy, with any method whatsoever.

But you gotta be prepared and you should know what to do to get over them.

There are 3 biggest blogging obstacles that will come into your way. And I’m gonna share with you which ones are they and how you can overcome them (and finally start blogging)!

Obstacle #1: Technology

When it comes to blogging, there are several technical things, that you will come across if you decide to do this on your own. And it stops a lot of people from blogging, and they miss out on a lot of the things that blogging will actually bring. People are always asking – how do I setup hosting, how do I link my domain with hosting, how do I work in WordPress, how to create a menu, and all sorts of different things. So they spend all of the time trying to figure our how to do all of that, and don’t move forward with their business, because technical things are not considered to be income producing activities (if you are in the home business industry).

So what’s the solution to all the tech hurdle? Hire someone who would do it better and faster than you. Outsourcing is one of the best things that you can ever spend your money on, which will allow you to save a TON of time for activities that bring you money in your business. There are many different websites that you can go and look for people to hire – fiverr.com, elance.com, upwork.com and many others. Or even if you know someone (your friend, or a family member) and they know some programming or coding, you can ask them for help.

Obstacle #2: What Do I Talk About?

This is one of the main obstacles that I personally stumbled upon when I just got started blogging in February this year. Not only I spent 3-4 weeks setting up my blog and working on design, I very quickly ran out of content ideas. Even though I did learn a lot of stuff in terms of marketing, business building, lead generation, I went to a lot of webinars, but I didn’t know how to put my notes into content.

Not long ago I put up a training on 9 different ways to come up with content ideas, I put a link below this post, so you can read it, and trust me, you’ll never run out of content ideas. And it applies to any niche – to home business, to real estate, to health & wellness, etc.

Here are several ideas that will help you with content creation, just to name a few – forums – what people are asking, webinars, live events, courses, books, YouTube videos, Facebook status updates and hot topics (if there’s any type of conversation going on), some breaking news in your industry.

Obstacle #3: Why Me?

Now that’s a BIG one. And that’s the exact same thing that I was wondering about. I am 20 years old high school graduate. Who would listen to me? Why would people pay attention to what I have to say?

In reality, people don’t care about who you are, and what background you have. They only care about the solutions that you can provide to their problems. They are searching for content to provide pain killers to their challenges. That’s it. It doesn’t matter where you are right now – people don’t care whether you earn a million dollars a year, or you’re just getting started in the industry. As long as the content is of high quality, and of perceived value, people will love you for it. Remember, it’s not about you, it’s about THEM.

And that’s the beauty of blogging, you don’t have to be an expert (although you will be once you remain consistent with it). Everyone starts from zero, you just gotta stick long enough with a particular strategy (blogging!) and be focused on sharing value for your audience.
