3 types of content for entrepreneurs

Let’s face it, there is a lot of different types of content that you can create as an entrepreneurs, regardless of what niche you are in.

There’s a gazillion of different platforms, including blogging, YouTube, podcasting, tons of social media platforms.

But in this particular post I wanna share with you the types of content for my all time favorite strategy – blogging.

To be honest, I had been blogging for a long time without knowing about different ways to do it, but they have actually opened my eyes big time. So I hope this will help you as well.

All right, so let’s get right into it now. When it comes to different type of content with blogging. It can take a hell of a lot of time, but don’t worry. I’ll share with you some content tips that won’t take as much time. However, there’s one that can take you days, if not weeks, BUT the return is gonna be massive.

So here’s the first type of content – Pillar Content. So what is it? A pillar piece of content (hopefully I put it in a correct grammar) is a MASSIVE blog post where you share pretty much a full blueprint on any given subject.

Let me give you an example, if you’re in online marketing, you could give a full tutorial on how to run successful Facebook ads. Another topic could be a complete guide to running webinars to close sales, or strategies to drive massive traffic to blog posts.

And when I say MASSIVE post, generally it is around 2,000 to 3,000 words. Here’s an example of a pillar post that I did last week. It literally explains every little detail about the subject I’m talking on there.

Here’s the point of a pillar content – to deliver so much value that people would love to share it. That’s my personal observation, so when I see a really detailed pillar post, I typically bookmark it or share on social media.

This type of post can give you a lot of exposure to your blog in general. Also, pillar content is known as cornerstone content. So you can literally use it ALL THE TIME. If you create a blog post talking about cold market prospecting on social media in details, you can always share this article with your prospects online. That’s what I call leverage!

In the video below I talk about 2 other types of content that you should not only know about, but USE IT. Actually, one of them is not gonna take as much time as pillar content – might take a couple hours maximum.
