Network Marketing Myths

Network Marketing Myths is the exact thing that stops people from joining this industry. They don’t do their research before blaming the industry that it doesn’t work for whatever reason.

Network Marketing is by far the fastest growing industry in today’s economy.

In yesterday’s post I talked about the reason why most marketers fail. If you look at the statistics, you’ll see that about 95{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} of marketers fail. And guess who believes in all these network marketing myths? Those 95{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1}! Exactly!

So today I’m going to reveal the most common network marketing myths that a lot of marketers still believe in.

Myth #1: Need a big budget to get started.

That’s a huge misconception. Network marketing is the business where you can get started with as little as $100, or even less. If you were to start your own traditional business, it would cost you thousands of dollars. Or imagine buying a franchise. You risk to spend all the money or you may get a loan, and then you’ll work as hell to break even, to make your money back. In network marketing you don’t have to invest thousands of dollars, it’s pretty inexpensive, considering the opportunity that you get.

Myth #2: Need to have a big warm market list.

A lot of people believe that they need to have hundreds of friends and family to enroll in business straight away. The thing is, that most of your warm market won’y join you in your business venture. They’ll more likely to not believe in it. That’s just the way it is. There are some cases where you have a supportive family and they understand the concept of business and all the benefits they get. But you don’t have to count on it. The Internet has so much to offer. You can do 80{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} of your business online. In fact, I personally do everything online. There are so many tools that you can utilize that will make a huge difference in your business.Neil Patel

Myth #3: Have to have previous experience and success.

Everyone starts from zero. You can’t come to a new industry and be successful right away. Everyone goes through a journey. Everyone has his own. You start from scratch. You go through training. You build your list. Every top leader started that way. So start from where you are, with what you have, and keep going.

Myth #4: Network marketing is not a real business.

That’s the biggest problem marketers face. They don’t treat this business like a business. They treat it like a hobby, which eventually will pay them like a hobby. Network marketing is a powerful way to grow a business. In fact, network marketing way is being utilized by large corporations, because marketing a product this way is extremely effective. You don’t need big overheads, a lot of employees. Everything is done on the Internet. That’s so powerful.

Myth #5: The market is saturated.

That’s the myth you can hear from people who are thinking about joining a company that has been on the market place for several years, and there are thousands of distributors already. So why bother? The truth is the market is never saturated. You are attracting your own people, you have your own target audience. And you build your own list. That’s it. More than that, in the next 3 years there will be 3 more BILLION people online. Do you think you’ll run out of traffic? Hell no!

Myth #6: You have to have a local team to become successful.

With technology evolving so rapidly, you can run your business from anywhere in the world, and having your team by your side is not a necessity. In fact, it became so easy to build business online with the power of the Internet. You have Social Media, Skype, mobile apps like WhatsApp and Viber to connect with your team, both with up-line and downline. My sponsor is in the United States, and part of my team is in Russia, so it’s not that difficult to build business globally today.

Myth #7: You have to sell door-to-door.

To succeed in network marketing, there are so many different ways. You get to pick any marketing method that works for you. You don’t need to sell door-to-door. Selling and marketing are different things. Having this freedom of choice is awesome. You don’t have to do what you’re not good at, e.g. home parties. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Focus on your strengths. However, you have to come out of your comfort zone, which will require you to do what successful people do and unsuccessful are not willing to.

Myth #8: Need a big list of subscribers.

Like I said before. We all start at zero. No list, no marketing skills whatsoever, no huge advertising budget. Embrace what you have and use the resources that you have now. When you put in action, you will build yourself up.

Myth #9: Need to know a lot of technical stuff.

A lot of people think that in network marketing you need to have a lot of technical knowledge. When you look at all the marketers out there, 90{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} of them are not technical friendly at all. How do they solve this problem? They outsource. Focus on your strong skills, don’t focus on your weaknesses. If you don’t know how to setup a blog, outsource it to someone else who does. Don’t know HTML coding? Outsource. Start doing that as early as possible. It will save you a lot of time and energy.

So my advice to you is stop believing in everything people say. Look at all the success stories out there. Do your research, and never believe in these myths!
