become an expert in your niche

Today I continue the blog series based on Brendon Burchard’s book “The Millionaire Messenger“.

Earlier I shared 5 steps (out of 10) to become an expert in your niche. And today I’ll share the rest of the steps that you can take to become an authority.

Wanna Become a Master Blogger?

Before I dive into the subject, I wanted to share with you the best way on how to become an expert in any niche. It is through content creation, either with video or with your own blog.

You may be thinking – “no, it’s too technical, I  can’t build my blog on my own“. Here’s the thing – you don’t have to do this nowadays. In this ultimate blog bundle you can get access to a premium blogging platform that is available out there, and save yourself days (if not weeks) trying to figure this out on your own.

Oh, and you’re also gonna get access to a world class training platform and tools along with the course by a 7-figure blogger, that’s gonna teach you how to become an expert in your niche through blogging.

6.Put Up a Website

After you create your product, you record those video modules, or audios, or you finish up a book, it’s time to get to marketing part. In order for you to promote something on the Internet, you need a website. I personally have lots of different websites aka capture pages (or funnels) in order to generate leads. One of your primary focuses has to be lead generation – actually getting people on your list, so that you can communicate with them. It’s not that difficult to do, in fact, if you decide to get the Ultimate Blog Bundle that I shared above, you’ll also get access to a funnel creation software at no additional cost. This thing is money!

And one of my main websites is this, where you’re reading this post. You MUST have your own blog, where you can deliver content to your audience. Having a blog is super important, because it’s like your real estate on the Internet. You are the one who owns the content, and nobody can take it away from you. In the video below I shared 3 things that your website has to have, so make sure to check it out and see if your website meets all the criteria! 🙂

Steps to Become an Expert In Your Niche

7.Campaign Your Products & Programs

That’s the part that a lot of marketers missed out on in the past (sometimes they still do). You can’t just put the link of your products (or affiliate ones), and expect to make sales out of thing air. When you campaign your offers, it means you are delivering value upfront, and then you provide your or someone else’s product as a solution and the opportunity to dig deeper into the subject.

Jeff Walker (author of The Launch) talks about this in details in his book, so you can check it out too. And that’s how the law of reciprocity works. You deliver so much value to your audience upfront (you have to over-deliver of course), so they feel compelled to buy your products. And this will also get them curious to learn more about what else can you teach them in your paid offer.

8.Post FREE Content

Content is something people are always looking for. They are looking for solutions to their problems and challenges. And from my perspective, content is one of the best ways to build trust with your audience, and that’s what gets people to buy. They won’t buy anything from you unless they trust you.

Free content can be in any shape or form. It can be a blog post, or a video. It can be an audio aka podcast. It can even be a webinar (where you promote your product at the end). You can provide free content on Social Media (there’s lots of options to choose from). As long as it is valuable, people will love you for it.

9.Get Promotional Partners

When you promote something just to your email list, you will make money (of course, it depends on the relationships that you have with your list). But when you get promotional partners, or affiliates, that are gonna be promoting your product or offer with you, you’ll be able to reach more people this way.

And what Brendon says in the book, you don’t need hundreds or thousands of affiliates. All you need is 5-10 good affiliate partners that you can work with. And in the book he talks about this subject in details.

10.Repeat & Build the Business Based on These 3 Things

You have to build your business based on distinction, excellence and service. In tomorrow’s blog post I’m gonna share this point in more details, but basically your goal in the market place is to stand out from everyone else. I mean, there are thousands of people and even more products and offers, so you have to differentiate yourself.

One of the quotes that I heard recently is that “you don’t have to be perfect, you have to be excellent”. Perfection is something that we can’t reach, no matter how bad we try. Excellence is achievable. You have to deliver top-notch training that people are looking for.

When it comes to service, you have to deliver high quality customer service, so that people know once they buy from you, they’re not gonna be left all on their own. You have to show them that they’re not alone, and they’ll get the needed support.
