Sometimes things are going really well and everything is moving forward. Other times, you don’t feel like doing anything. Can you relate to that?
And it doesn’t matter what level of success you get to, it happens to everyone.. No questions asked.
However, there are always ways to get unstuck and move yourself and your business further.

BUSINESS MOTIVATION #1: WHAT’S THE ALTERNATIVE?
Whenever you have those days when you literally don’t feel like doing anything, this is the question you want to ask yourself. What’s the alternative if I don’t take any action? Really think about what would you do if you weren’t building this business? Would you want to go work a job?
Think about what’s the worst that could happen? I don’t know about you, but to me that’s always painful. When I don’t feel like doing something, I remind myself that if I don’t take action in my business, I’ll have to either go to college (since I don’t have a degree or find a job). Clearly, the options are not that fun.
Know what’s the alternative. And when you know it’s painful, get back to business. Negative motivation has been huge for me to get out of that funk every single time.
BUSINESS MOTIVATION #2: YOUR VISION
Once you know that the alternative is and it’s not a great one, now it’s time to look at your vision. Take a step back for a second and think about WHY you started this business in the first place. What was the motivation behind that?
Did you want to quit your job? That’s just a small part of it. But in reality, where do you see yourself going? Are you looking to grow your personal brand? Is speaking on stages in your future plans? Do you want to grow your own company?
Create a bigger picture and look outside of where you are at right now. Do you want to impact people on a bigger scale? Create a clear picture of where you see yourself going. Even put it on a vision board if that helps you!
BUSINESS MOTIVATION #3: TAKE A BREAK
Do you ever just sit in front of your computer for hours, and then find yourself not getting anything done? And the clock just keeps ticking, but nothing really gets accomplished? I’ve been there and done that!
During the times like that what I generally do is go offline. Get off your computer and go for a walk, or do something that will distract you. Every now and then you need to take a step back and recharge your energy. Try it – always helps!
BUSINESS MOTIVATION #4: DAILY ROUTINE
Last but certainly not least, your daily mode of operation is the absolute key. You must have a clear list of things you’re committed to doing on a daily basis. And they key here is ‘commitment’.
You have to have your non-negotiable activities that you do no matter what. It can be personal development, or increasing your network, or following up with prospects, etc.
If you’re a visual person, then you may need to use a daily planned or an online calendar. Use whatever you think is going to hold you accountable to sticking to that daily routine without fail. This will also prevent you from wasting time, especially if you have very little time.
