training course

Have you ever bought a training course on marketing or any other topic and then couldn’t go through it effectively?

Or you spent tons and tons of time on it? And then didn’t take any action?

Or maybe you were stuck at some point and didn’t know how to move forward or how to apply any given information?

If you’re still buying courses like crazy, but not using them, you’re wasting your time, money and energy.

Each training course is designed to help you get unstuck in your business, not the other way around. That’s why you have to have a strategy in place in order to consume each training course information properly.

First of all, I don’t recommend buying every other course that you can find out there, because there are SO many of them. There are numerous marketing strategies, and a LOT more courses on all of that. My suggestion is pick a marketing strategy that you wanna master, and learn everything you can about it – and buy courses on that particular strategy. My focus is put 100{f3c65145988e2e59c83e583cebd868b487b41a6223d103cb7159bbb31ea456e1} on this blog, that’s why I decided to learn from the best network marketing blogger – Ray Higdon, and I got his course on blogging.

You don’t wanna be buried in all of those courses, just sitting and learning without moving forward. The purpose of you purchasing a course is to learn and take action immediately!

My recommendation when going through a training course is to speed it up. Most of the courses are stored in Wistia video hosting, so if you’re using Google Chrome as a browser, then search for “Video Speed Controller” extension, and it will allow you to double the speed of the video. See for yourself which speed works best for you. For me personally the double speed is way too fast, I usually listen to trainings on 1,5 or 1,7. To me that’s the speed that I can normally consume the information at. And if for some reason you don’t see an option to speed up the Wistia video, just Google it, and you’ll find a video how to enable that feature.

So the first time I watch a training course, I don’t take notes. I only consume the information and go apply it straight away after each module is watched. Because taking notes takes time as well, when you have to pause the training, write some stuff down. I wanna make sure that I actually implement what I learn, so I can start getting results. That’s what I highly recommend doing.

And the second time you go through the course – take notes. Again – on the 1,5 speed or whatever fits you best. Yes, it will take you some time, but this was is a lot more effective to go through a training course rather than procrastinating on it and not taking any action on the information that you learn. So what do you do with those notes later? Turn them into content – blog posts, videos, etc.

What’s good about going through a course twice is that you will get the most out of it, because the first time you went through it, you may have not paid attention to some little things. And now you do. And it all finally starts to make sense.

Watch the video below where I dive a little deeper into that topic.
